Since 1938, the Mullens Volunteer Fire Department has proudly served the citizens of Mullens and the surrounding communities with one mission in mind: the preservation of life, health, and property.
While rooted in a long tradition of fire suppression and prevention, MVFD has grown to meet the evolving needs of our community. In the 1990s, we became Wyoming County’s first fire department to initiate an Advanced Life Support rapid-response EMS program. Today, our EMS providers have the capability to not only respond, but to transport critically ill and injured patients—reducing wait times and improving patient outcomes when every second counts.
This page was created to share information specific to our EMS and ambulance operations, including service updates, education, community outreach, and highlights of the professionals who proudly serve our area.
Our vision is a safer, healthier, and more resilient community—one where residents feel protected, supported, and confident in their emergency services. Through professionalism, innovation, education, and strong partnerships, we remain committed to providing the highest level of fire and emergency medical care possible.
Thank you for your continued trust and support.
